Surin National Park officials rush to help a whale shark caught in a fishing net

Mr. Kriangkrai Phuacharoen, Chief of Surin Islands National Park, revealed that yesterday (May 4) at 11:00 a.m., Surin Islands National Park officials were notified by the operator of the deep-sea diving boat, Deep Andaman Queen, that at approximately 10:30 a.m., while tourists and officials were on the boat, they found an adult whale shark, 6-7 meters long, with fishing gear, believed to be scraps of old rope or old nets, tangled in the tail.
